Beginning of this character’s story is at "Roberto"!

The portal leads Roberto to a desert. Despite walking a lot in the heat, he starts to notice his body apparently doesn't lack sleep: so it's without sleeping for days that he finally discovers what seemed to be animal dens? He could even say a whole town of animal dens!
And near these dens, canines. But these canines looked off... first off, none of them had fangs, they all had human-like teeth. Second of all... they were talking! In their own language! If Roberto had encountered a highly intelligent species, he must find a way to fit in. Luckily, he discovered that the electrical mutations his body underwent had the ability to make him shapeshift: so the man shapeshifted into a canine, a small chihuahua. Even if he did change forms, his body kept its horns and red bat wings.

Roberto in his Dog form was greeted very well by the canines! The man taught the Dogs English, how to make clothes, houses, and even food recipes! The Dogs then named their world Canilon and built nine villages in the whole territory.
Years later, as a thank you for everything Roberto had taught them, the Dogs organized a big party for him, later renamed the Bat-Winged Dog Celebration. This same party now occurs every single year in Canilon, with food, red bat-themed decorations and even costumes!

Roberto, despite having multiple friends in Canilon, had a single best friend called Butterfly, a tanuki with the same love for cooking Roberto has.
The chihuahua shapeshifter stays in Canilon for about fifty years, and it's only when Butterfly died that he decided to leave for an other dimension.

Side note: he still hasn't slept at all since he first got to Canilon, decades ago.
