Lore:

Mihpares is a white Swan with a weird yet charming personality. She was three years old when King Guillaz was exiled to the Gate. Very young, she developed an interest in art. She used to live with the other Swans in Waterfall City, but ever since Queen Felna's son, Touan, began to rule alone after Queen Novaal's death, things started to get hard for her: the king brainwashed his subjects into being as mean and selfish as he is. Mihpares stayed true to herself, and not understanding why every Swan began to act rude all the time, decided to leave the city and built herself a house near a river, alone.

After one hundred years of solitude, murders started to occur in the city...

A short time after, by a cold snowy night, Mihpares met Screebip, a coyote, who told the Swan she accidentally went through the Gate and lost her memory in the process. Mihpares gladly offered Screebip to stay to her house, waiting for her memory to get back. The two became friends, Mihpares never noticing the coyote's attempts to kill her. The Dog was actually the one behind the murders in Waterfall City, but she got attached to the Swan, deciding to let her live.

After finding out Screebip was actually Queen Novaal, seeking revenge from King Touan for betraying her, Mihpares fought by her friend's side when the king's guards were attempting to put the Dog down. The Swan then escaped with Screebip to Canilon, the other side of the Gate, and became a Dog herself.
